Browning Model 1885 High Wall Single Shot Rifle, #01762PV247, .45-70 cal., 28'' octagon barrel, dark blue finish, checkered straight grip walnut stock, Schnabel forend, black rubber Browning recoil pad, sling swivels, dovetailed blade front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, with a modern Marble's tang sight. Overall the metal shows signs of only light use with 99%+ original finish. Front of the lever with a few small surface nicks. All factory lettering is sharp. Wood with a handful of scattered pressure dents and scratches predominantly at the wrist and forend; bottom edge of buttstock with one more noticeable scratch between the swivel and recoil pad; checkering is excellent.
